I have a wide range of experience leading rehearsal clinics and workshops on topics ranging from Early Childhood Music Education and German language to conducting for educators. Below are some examples of sessions I have led or conceptualized.
Conducting for music Educators
A session on non-verbal communication, gesture, and score study for teachers to enhance the efficiency of their rehearsal technique and performance. Private lessons are also available.
German Language for Orchestras
Das hört sich aber gut an! A 2-3 hour engagement teaching an orchestra the most important German vocabulary. There is also an option for learning a German folk song/march. For all ages and skill levels.
Building Tonal/Rhythmic Vocabulary for Ensembles
This workshop uses pieces from the Jump Right In/Gordon Music Learning Theory Method of building a musical vocabulary into practice. Students will come away with a stronger sense of phrasing, tonality, and rhythmic stability alone and within the group.

Conducting
Does your music program need a conductor or an ensemble leader? I am available for short-term engagements worldwide as well as regular substitute positions in the New York area. Whether you're looking for someone to lead the ensemble or take on a creative direction role in repertoire and project planning, my creativity is at your disposal.

Program Development
I offer program development consultations during which we can talk about your unique program goals and structures. These are great for individuals who are building a program from scratch or scaling up an existing program. private lessons
I maintain a small virtual viola studio for highly motivated adult learners. In-person lessons for students of all ages in the New York City area are considered on a case-by-case basis. Let's dig into viola technique and repertoire, and have fun doing it!
